Midnight (2012)
Winner of the Bach Choir of Bethlehem Young Composer's Competition.
Gallienne's Good-Night paints a dark, yet evocative picture of a couple's love through the lens of a nocturnal landscape. The piece musically sets the scene of a calm night, but a burning passion within the eyes of the lovers. It is continuously moving forward, despite its slow tempo, and takes a preference toward thicker and more jazz-like sonorities.
